RELAX, REJUVENATE & FEEL YOUR QI

Yin Yoga is a deeply healing and meditative form of yoga that targets the connective tissues and energy meridians of the body. A yin yoga pose is typically held for five minutes; enough time to release stagnation within the fascia, refine subtleties of the breath and quiet the mind. The benefits are many ranging from enhanced flexibility, deep fascial release, energetic balance, mental calm and stress relief. YOQI Yin routines combine yin yoga postures with gentle qigong flows, meridian cleansing, and self-massage to focus on energetic outcomes and further circulate the flow of qi.

PERFECT FOR

Balancing yang lifestyles and practices, promoting healing and relaxing the mind, cultivating firm body based awareness. People with physically and/or mentally active lifestyles, including yang yogis, athletes, cyclists, runners, weightlifters, numbers crunchers, and thinking oriented types who store a lot of tension in their bodies. It is a wonderful complement to an active (Yang) practice and a much needed tool for anyone who needs to unwind a tight body, mind, or heart. Yin is suitable for all levels, including beginners.

FUN FACT!

DAO YIN is the original Chinese form of Yin Yoga that means “to guide and direct”. The ancient Daoists combined seated postures with mental intention to direct qi through the meridians, clear pathways and circulate energy throughout the body.
